Heading towards an increasingly safer future
28 March 2022
Going forward in alignment with our strategy, our focus will be on product lines and services, which means buckets of all sizes, mining truck bodies for demanding use and associated life cycle services. The latter includes spare parts for buckets and our mining segment maintenance service with wear and spare parts. What we do at Häggblom is no ordinary engineering works.
Designing mining equipment and large-scale special products requires specialist know-how and experience. Strong engineering expertise has long been a key element in our operations and strategy alike. Another categorical requirement in responding to our mining customer needs is a deep understanding of their business and taking into account their special needs.
Our vision is to be the leading supplier of life cycle services for mining equipment in Northern Europe. This is why we want to provide even better quality solutions that increase the operating reliability of our customers in Finland, Sweden and Norway and to offer them the best possible product support. Having divested certain product lines in a business transaction just over a month ago, we can now focus on purposefully developing life cycle services related to mining operations, quarrying and dredging. This will take place in close cooperation with our customers and key partners – such as ESCO and SSAB –drawing on technology and product expertise.
Häggblom’s basic values have always been quality, honesty, flexibility and boldness. Add to these our good, extensive network around the world and more than 60 years of experience, we have a brilliant future ahead of us!
Long-term safety work with our personnel and customers is our top priority and has again borne fruit this year in the form of our greatly improved safety statistics. We will continue in the same way – Taking Care!
