Customers are happy when price, quality and good service meet

The year 2021 has been an unusual one in many ways and we, too, have been facing completely new challenges - including unexpected price changes and transport-related issues - in our business. However, risk minimisation and controlled forecasting have enabled us to keep on top of the situation at all times.

Customer satisfaction indicators show that Häggblom’s strengths include bilingual service, extensive stock, product quality and aftersales marketing. This year we have continued to focus on developing our customer service and product selection in particular. Our salespersons have extensive technical knowledge of the industry and this allows us to provide customers with the help they need. When any problems arise, we don’t leave the customer high and dry but strive to quickly and flexibly always find a solution.

Our supplier strategy has been built so that the customer can be sure of buying top quality from Häggblom at all times. This is made possible by the top brands we represent and our suppliers who we select through exact processes.

This year we increased the headcount in our team and boosted the power in our field sales in South Finland. The Juvanmalmi branch in Espoo has been running well and we intend to soon invest significantly in our selection and operations in South Finland.

The Government’s economic survey shows the earth-moving sector to be doing well. Higher crude oil prices have added to the costs of earthworks construction and in turn revenue in the sector – order books have also grown accordingly. Our customers have many different projects under way at wind farm sites, infrastructure construction and even in mines.

Because of the prevailing coronavirus situation, we have exercised particular caution in customer meetings and acted at all times on our customers’ terms. However, we have been able to do face-to-face sales work almost without interruption. It seems that coronavirus will continue to affect our own everyday life and that of our customers also going forward. This being the case, we will continue to act in compliance with official guidelines – and exercise great caution.

Finally, we would like to send greetings to contractors in the spirit of our ”Taking Care” approach: please always try to anticipate your spare and wear parts needs! Naturally, not even the widest selection of spare and wear parts in Northern Europe can contain everything you need, and delivery times for those parts that are not available on our shelves might of course take a bit longer. When a part breaks, you usually need a new replacement immediately – and if you already have “critical parts” in our own stocks you can get back to work as soon as possible.

We at Häggblom would like to thank all our fantastic customers for the past year; it’s certainly been fast paced… Let’s continue in the same spirit into the next year!
