What was 2020 like for Häggblom?
The past year was a very different one, both for us as a company and for each of our employees. The coronavirus pandemic took us all by surprise earlier in the year and brought with it many practical challenges such as remote working and an end to travel. However, we coped very well with the exceptional conditions and were able to come through the year in line with targets. A huge thanks for this is due to our customers, suppliers and above all to our flexible staff.
What spearheads does Häggblom have lined up for this year?
In 2021, we will launch our new full collection of Wolverex buckets in Finland and Sweden. We expect this exciting opening to generate a lot of interest with our customers. This year, we will focus heavily also on developing lifecycle services for our mining customers. This will be reflected in a stronger and revamped service organisation, which will in turn enable better services than earlier also for machine entrepreneurs.
What message would you like to send to machine entrepreneurs in preparation for the post-corona time?
New investments among other things will stimulate the Finnish economy and means a demand for the skills of machine entrepreneurs. I look with confidence to the future and believe that machine entrepreneurs will have plenty of work in the years to come.
